CandyKing Theatre was set up by Maria Chiorando, Ross Finbow and Philip John in 2008, with the aim of producing revivals of classic plays.

Maria Chiorando worked as a floor runner and assistant director on many television dramas and feature films. She is a director and producer for CandyKing.

Ross Finbow trained as an actor at East 15 and went on to appear in television programmes such as Footballers Wives, Taggart and theatre productions Men Should Weep, (The Oxford Touring Company) and The Field (Tricycle Theatre). He found his real interest lay in producing and is now an assistant producer for CandyKing.

Philip John trained at an actor at East 15 and worked almost exclusively on the stage in productions such The Tempest and Faustus for the Wales Touring Company. He played the role of Cliff Lewis in CandyKing’s revival of Look Back In Anger.
